Poblamiento emiral en el Garb al-Andalus
| Resumo: | Although little information exists about the settling of people from the Emirate period in the Gharb al- Andalus, some guidelines connected with its general development have come to light, nuances and additional information coming from information given by rescue archaeology carried out on large scale public works. Apart from aspects of continuity and transformation experienced by a considerable number of Roman villas, there is some data relating to fortified rural settlements; groups of small rural dwellings, highlighting here the Kura in Beja; a certain cave population found in the Serra da Arrábida and some structures of a marked religious nature that could correspond either to small rural mosques or structures connected with fortification, ribāt.. |
