Sinfonia do desconhecido II

Detalhes bibliográficos
Resumo:The Symphony of the Unknown is an artistic investigation by Nuno Cera and an attempt to identify the unknown spatial qualities of three architectural complexes, each with a weight of memory and a transformative potential at a cultural, social and socio-political level. The result is a large-scale, synchronized three-channel video installation and a publication. The project is carried out in collaboration with three guest critics - Susana Ventura, Joauim Moreno and Mirko Zardini. The project, conceived as a "visual symphony", creates a territory in which three episodes and poetic glimpses from different times coexist in evanescence: the "Collegio del Colle" university campus by Giancarlo De Carlo from the 1960s in Urbino, Italy; the "Torre do Tombo", the national archive of the 1980s in Lisbon by Arsénio Cordeiro; and the "City of Culture of Galicia" by Peter Eisenman from the beginning of the 21st century in Santiago de Compostela, Spain.
