Demand Response under a Smart Grid context
| Resumo: | This work focuses on the impact of Demand Response, under a Smart Grid context, in the Portuguese Electricity Market. The use of real-time pricing and incentive based DR programs in order to achieve Load Shifting, Peak Shaving and Energy Efficiency is explored and its economic benefits analyzed. The result of this changes in EDP Distribuição, the Portuguese Distribution System Operator is explored and recommendations are proposed. |
