Implementation of messages for autonomous vehicle cooperative maneuvers
| Resumo: | This work proposes a method for generating and transmitting Manouver Coordination Messages (MCMs) in an ITS (Intelligent Transport Systems) stack, focusing on vehicle communication. Various modifications have been made to the code of the stack to implement the MCM, with the help of various libraries such as GNSS, enabling effective communication between vehicles. The suggested structure incorporates an MQTT broker in the application layer, simplifying message supervision. Several tests were conducted to measure the time elapsing between the generation and reception of messages and to assess their integrity. The findings reveal the time in milliseconds and point the way to future research, such as executing negotiations between vehicles. |
