Detalhes bibliográficos
Resumo:This internship report presents the work carried out at Think Digital, focused on the study, design, and implementation of monitoring devices based on 5G Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN). The main objective was to assess the integration between terrestrial and nonterrestrial communications in order to ensure reliable connectivity in challenging communication environments. To achieve this, an in-depth analysis of 5G network architectures and the advances in satellite communications integration was conducted, highlighting their capabilities and limitations in remote monitoring scenarios. Furthermore, a prototype tracking device was developed and tested, incorporating 5G/NTN communication modules, sensors, and energy optimization techniques. The obtained results demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed solution, showing its potential for applications in fleet management, logistics, intelligent mobility, and asset monitoring in remote areas.
