Resumo:This report refers to the school placement carried out within the scope of the Master's Degree in Teaching Physical Education in Basic and Secondary Education at the Faculty of Sport of the University of Porto, which was undertaken at a school in the district of Porto. The Teaching placement constituted a fundamental stage in my educating path as a future teacher, as it provided me with direct and continuous contact with the reality of the educational context. This experience allowed me to put into practice some of the knowledge acquired during the two years of the master's programme, both at a theoretical and practical level, contributing to the consolidation of the knowledge acquired in the academic context and its application in a professional setting. Furthermore, the main objective of the school placement was to promote the development of pedagogical, didactic and reflective competences that are essential for the teaching profession, in accordance with the guidelines defined in the school placement report, the document that guides and structures the entire professional training process. In this sense, rather than merely describing the activities carried out throughout the placement, this report also aims to present a critical reflection on the experiences encountered, the difficulties faced, the strategies adopted and the learning outcomes achieved throughout this process. The report begins with the personal framework, in which a reflection on my personal path and the motivations underlying my choice of the teaching profession is presented, followed by the institutional framework, where the host school, the placement group and the classes taught during the academic year are characterised. Subsequently, the operational framework is presented, describing the processes of planning, organisation and structuring of lessons throughout the placement. This is followed by the section on school involvement, which includes the various activities and initiatives developed within the school context during the placement period. Finally, the scientific research conducted is presented, which constitutes an essential component of this training process, allowing the articulation of pedagogical practice with reflection and the production of knowledge in the field of Physical Education.
