Rituals, states of trance and sacralization: mystical experiences in the formation processes of scene artists
| Resumo: | The article starts from a distinction between ritual practices and theatrical practices, anchored in anthropological theories, to propose a conceptual approach to ritual theater, specifically to the Ritual Play. From the experience narratives of actors and actresses in the process of formation, members of the Arkhétypos Grupo de Teatro (Rio Grande do Norte/BR), the trance states and the diverse mystical experiences during the creation processes are problematized, making parallels between the mediumistic practice, the states of trance and the art of the actor/actress. |
