Alterações escapulares em praticantes de treinamento resistido
| Resumo: | Introduction: the shoulder joint complex is described as the second place with more complaints of pain and injury among practitioners of resistance training. By being widely requested in everyday life, the shoulder can become a place of overloads that lead to degenerative pathologies, sometimes with asymptomatic ruptures during a certain time. Muscle Imbalances, inadequate muscle activation sequences or inappropriate postures in addition to other factors, can cause biomechanical changes that result in changing the position of the shoulder joint during motion, thus increasing the risk of injury. Objective: To identify the prevalence of alterations in scapular kinematics in subjects practicing resistance training, using the SDT method. Methodology: The research is characterized by being a study of case that possessed observational cross-sectional nature, with a sample of 15 subjects, 8 men and 7 women, aged between 18 and 45 years, with at least 6 months of practice in resistance training. They were collected by the researcher in the data relative to body composition: body mass, height, BMI, and applied the SDT method for the evaluation of the prevalence of alterations scapulars. Results: It was identified through the SDT Method The presence of alterations scapulars in 12 of the 15 subjects evaluated, being 4 considered sutil and 8 considered obvious, these 7 men and 5 women. Winged Scapula was present in 11 subjects and 5 of them presented scapulars dysrhythmias Conclusion: Despite the limitations of the study, such as the fact that the sample was small and because this is a case study, it was observed a high incidence of scapular changes in pratictitioners of resistance training in the population assessed. I think an indication for further research in this area and for this population are performed in order to identify and clarify its impact on individuals and their relationship with resistance training. |
