Detalhes bibliográficos
Resumo:Throughout society's history, work has gone through several phases and changes, being a reference of collectivity and pleasure to the loss of the subject's own identity or exploitation. Affected by these transformations, education is today an instrument used to meet the needs of a social and financial system governed by capital, thus undoing the real meaning of education and affecting the health of teachers, due to the precariousness and devaluation of the profession. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the emotional health of teachers, with an emphasis on the social and economic context in which they are inserted. The method and approach of this research are qualitative and quantitative, since theoretical and field research were used to study and analyze the topic. In the bibliographic survey, articles, academic works and books dealing with neoliberalism and teacher health were consulted, such as Duarte (2011); Frigotto (2010); Saviani (2005); Santos and Andrioli (2005); Libâneo (2004), Codo (1999), among others. Given the results obtained by the authors studied and the research developed here, it is concluded that the teaching class is constantly being affected by the changes imposed by a State with neoliberal influences and policies, therefore, the school environment has been a place of precariousness and teaching, a profession of disenchantment and exhaustion for education professionals.
