Bibliographic Details
Summary:The Dance Costume covers studies of colors, shapes, body and dramaturgy in the contemporary dance scene. The objective of this work is to gather knowledge about the costumes and their creation processes, understanding it as a dramaturgical aesthetic element. It is believed that this work will contribute to the existing gap of specific studies on costume for dance, so the present work aims to broaden the discussions and propositions about the costume in both the artistic and educational scope of dance teaching, raising questions: "What to use? ", " How to use? " and " For what purpose? ". These issues can provide artists and learners experience of creating and producing senses in the design of costumes. The work is oriented based on the epistemological and methodological references of cartographic research. The work develops critical and reflexive studies on the processes of construction of the costume for contemporary dance, identifies the clues that arise from the aesthetic look on the costumes studied, aiming at the elaboration of the costumes for dance.
