Revisão sistemática de literatura sobre o avanço da exploração do Folhelho (Xisto) no Brasil e no mundo
| Resumo: | Shale is an alternative fuel that can generate energy in two different ways: combustion of its matrix or burning its adsorbed gas. Its most accepted origin was explained in details in this paper, as was its history in Brazil. The use of shale gas as a secondary source of energy is becoming more and more present with the advancement of exploitation and extraction technologies due to its high-energy value. Therefore, a detailed study of various formations and basins around the world, especially Brazil, China and the United States, the largest shale reserves on the planet. In order to understand what characteristics make shale formation economically feasible, the most abundant characteristics in articles were chosen and, through a Systematic Review, these data were quantified and correlated. Finally, a brief study was carried out on its importance in Brazil. The results showed the need for more studies in the area, especially in regions with less developed potential, because scarce data are the main barrier to the expansion of this energy source. |
