Summary:Introduction: There is a significant development in Physiotherapy that acts in care during the puerperium period, aiming at a better postpartum recovery, in addition to early identification of obstetric risk factors. During pregnancy, practically all systems are altered by hormonal actions. With this, at the end of pregnancy, the process of normalization and regression of various structures begins, which affects the puerperal woman in your totality, and these changes can interfere with daily functional activities during the puerperium and, therefore, with her quality of life. Objective: Many women, having gone through all these bodily changes, may have different complaints. Because of this, the objective of this research is to survey the main complaints that women may have during the puerperium phase. Methods: This is a cross-sectional observational study. Data were collected through a questionnaire on the Google Forms platform, published on social networks, containing sociodemographic questions, personal data, previous clinical conditions, urinary complaints using the International Consultation on Incontinence Questionnaire - Short Form ICIQ-SF, body image, sexuality, information about pregnancy and childbirth. Results: The present study was carried out with postpartum women up to six months postpartum. Most were between 31-40 years old, single, with a college degree, without the presence of comorbidities. Most of them were in the late postpartum phase and had only one pregnancy. 25% of the sample had urinary incontinence (from moderate to severe), 31.42% reported complaints of constipation and 34.28% complaints of hemorrhoids. 80% of the mothers evaluated in this study reported pain during sexual intercourse, 54.28% had abdominal flaccidity and 62.85% were dissatisfied with their bodies. Conclusion: The main complaints found in the puerperal women in this sample were urinary incontinence (UI), pain during sexual intercourse, abdominal flaccidity/rectus abdominis diastasis (DRAM) and dissatisfaction with their own body.
