Modelagem numérica de mistura de quatro ondas em amplificadores raman distribuídos
| Resumo: | In this work a computational model for Raman amplification in DWDM optical communication systems is presented which accounts for the occurence of FWM in the region of the amplifiers's pump lasers. The ASE generation, Rayleigh back-scattering and multiple co and counter propagating pump and signal lasers have been considered. Simulation results of the developed model and the comparison with data previously published in the literature are here presented showing the relevance of the terms introduced in this work. |
