MIT-E3 Model: Sensitivity study
| Resumo: | This work presents the material constants of the MIT-E3 model and discusses some considerations about how they are evaluated. Seven of them are evaluated by tests, which are specified. The remaining eight parameters are defined in a parametric study. The paper presents a sensitivity study of the characteristics of each parameter that is defined indirectly: post-failure behaviour, non-linear elasticity, the development of plastic deformations inside the yield surface, the evolution of the pore pressures induced by the shear stresses, and the rotation speed of the axis of the yield surface. |
