Estágio nos Caminhos do Cinema Português: A Importância dos Festivais de Cinema e da Filmografia Portuguesa em Contexto do Público
| Resumo: | This curricular internship was carried out from October to March at Caminhos do Cinema Português During this period (October - March), I served as a secretarial assistant, where I developed various skills related to the work of a cinema exhibition establishment, and performed other tasks suggested by the team, which enriched my capabilities as an intern throughout that time.My main objective is to demonstrate the importance of cultural centers, in this case, those in the cinema field, and what can be done to promote and spark more interest, whether for establishments like Caminhos do Cinema Português or for films made in Portugal.To achieve this, I will need to contextualize by explaining the history of portuguese cinema, covering how it started, the main figures, what had the most appeal, the genres used, etc. This will make it easier to understand audience behavior and what can be done to help combat or minimize this phenomenon.Regarding employment, I will explain the reason for the significant difficulties and discontent experienced by people trying to start a career or, in this case, survive in the arts sector. Based on my experience, I noticed that a team like the one at Caminhos do Cinema Português works very hard, but the outcome could be better given the effort and dedication.I believe that portuguese cinema does not have a great artistic impact due to many factors such as the lack of resources, lack of public information, and low budgets. On the other hand, my experience as an intern was enriching, allowing me to understand how these establishments function and the importance they hold. |
