The internship took place at Associação para o Desenvolvimento Integral de Lordelo (ADIL), a Private Institution of Social Solidarity dedicated to supporting older adults through services that promote active ageing, participation and quality of life.Throughout the internship, it was possible to participate in the planning, implementation and evaluation of a wide range of activities, including regular activities, cognitive and motor stimulation sessions, commemorative events, community-based activities and the production of content for the institution's social media platforms. These experiences contributed to the development of skills in planning, organisation, communication, teamwork and socio-educational intervention in an institutional context. As part of the internship, the intervention project VIDA Digital was designed and implemented with the aim of promoting digital literacy among older adults through the use of technological devices and practical activities adapted to their needs and interests. The project included sessions on digital device exploration, the use of Google Maps, an awareness session led by the National Republican Guard on fraud prevention, technology-based cognitive stimulation activities and the creation of a digital quiz to consolidate learning. The evaluation of the project revealed a positive improvement in participants' confidence and autonomy regarding the use of digital technologies.Overall, the internship represented a highly valuable learning experience, contributing significantly to the development of personal and professional skills while highlighting the importance of lifelong learning, digital inclusion and socio-educational intervention with older adults.
