| Summary: | In this article I intend to analyze the musical band of As armas e o povo,a collaborative film signed by the Colectivo de Trabalhadores da Actividade Cinematográfica and filmed between the 25th of April and the 1st of May 1974, in the midst of the Revolution of Carnations. The core objective of this investigation will be to reflect on the central role of intervention music in the narrative of the film in question and how it contributes to a differentiated listening and to a re-signification of the images recorded by the various authors involved in the production of the work. |
