| Summary: | The text is dedicated to the Portuguese filmmaker António Campos (1922-1999). Some experiences, statements, concepts, and characteristics of this important director and his innovative, pioneer, complex and multifaceted filmography are analyzed, especially in the ethnographic and documentary aspects. Some contributions are presented, to the ethnographic cinema, visual anthropology, Portuguese cinema, (inter)cultural studies, and the dissemination of Portuguese culture and its traditions. |
