O conhecimento das mulheres portuguesas sobre doenças sexualmente transmissíveis
| Summary: | Objectivos: avaliar as práticas sexuais; avaliar o conhecimento relativamente às doenças sexualmente transmissíveis; avaliar o comportamento sexual protegido; estimar a prevalência percepcionada de doenças sexualmente transmissíveis; averiguar relações entre variáveis sócio-demográficas, práticas sexuais e conhecimento sobre doenças sexualmente transmissíveis; e estimar o conhecimento com preditor no comportamento sexual protegido e nas doenças sexualmente transmissíveis. Métodos: Foi recolhida uma amostra de 456 mulheres, através do preenchimento de um questionário disponível na Internet. Resultados: Os resultados mostram que existe um elevado desconhecimento relativamente às doenças sexualmente transmissíveis e que o conhecimento não tem uma relação preditiva com o comportamento sexual protegido e com ter ou não ter uma DST. |

Results: The results show that there is a great lack of knowledge concerning sexually transmitted diseases and that knowledge has no predictive relationship with the protected sexual behaviour and with having or not having an STD. |
