Film criticism: history and influence on the reader
| Summary: | This paper intends to promote a reflection about the importance of film criticism, understood here as a discursive practice, given its prominent persuasive function in readers. In order to better understand the contemporary horizon of this discursive narrative, I will first trace some of its historical developments. My next step consists to discuss the strong influence that the film review discourse bear to the readers.
