Relações étnico-raciais na Argentina: história, desigualdades e resistência.
| Resumo: | The following study aims to analyze ethnic-racial issues in Argentina from a historical and demographic perspective, how racism and the invisibility of Afro-Argentines work, and what measures the State and civil society have applied in relation to this problem. Through an analysis of the prevailing narrative since the formation of the Argentine National State and the factors that led to a drastic decrease of the Afro-Argentine population (but not to an extinction), it is intended to understand and demystify the idea of a “White Argentina” and to face the issues of racial inequality in Argentina and Brazil. |
