Amor e parceiro ideal: efeito da Correlação entre os parceiros Ideal e real na experiência de amor
| Resumo: | The objective of this study was to understand the ideal partner conceptions, verify how they relate to real partners and what impact this relationship has on the love experience. For this, the theoretical model matching hypothesis was used. Thus, a questionnaire was used in order to measure the ideal and real partners (Ideal Partner and Relationship Scales) and another to measure the experience of love in the relationship (Relationship Rating Form). The sample was of convenience and had a total of 185 participants. The results showed a correlation between the ideal and real partner. Furthermore, they demonstrated that this correlation can have a positive and/or negative impact on the experience of love. The experience of love in the relationship, in turn, seems to be more related to dimensions underlying affection and trust, such as communication, than to dimensions underlying status or attractiveness. Taking this into account, it was concluded that the feeling of love is dependent on a more communicative and loving partner, with more superficial variables leading to a lower feeling of love. |
