Detalhes bibliográficos
Resumo:On air since 2018, the Ilustríssima Conversa podcast produced by Brazilian newspaper Folha de S. Paulo is released every two weeks with interviews with authors of non-fiction books and intellectuals. Although it does not set out to offer cultural criticism, the program articulates a dialogue in which journalism and literature intersect. Beyond the diversity of guests, there is a backdrop that weaves together, through the discussion of contemporary themes, an analysis of the Brazilian and international context. This text focuses on two conversations held in 2023 with Ailton Krenak and Antônio Bispo, two intellectuals and activists for the indigenous and quilombola cause in Brazil. We use the exploratory case study methodology (Martino, 2018), combining the analysis of texts that seek to characterize the specificity of the Ilustríssima Conversa podcast, listening to the program's editions, and examining the conversational forms of presentation of the content of these episodes, asking how territorialities and colonialities, cross-cutting issues present in both episodes, both carry historical-social reflections and call on journalism to take a stand on current emergencies. From this, we understand this podcast as a complex communicational phenomenon that illuminates ways in which the global and the local intersect, indicating media possibilities for questioning hegemonic powers and promoting agendas that focus on community life and criticism of capitalism.
