Periferias e urbanidades: espaços de violência e inflexão do local e global
Publicaçãopor Silva, Daniela de SousaOrigem: OasisbrFrom an urban violence perspective, specifically in the state of Rio de Janeiro, this paper seeks to analyze the program called “Unidades de Polícia Pacificadora” beyond the traditional concept of security in which it is generally conceived, meaning, the understanding that it is simply the synonym for the use of force at Rio's favelas. Therefore, a contemporary approach on violence and the cadence of (un)security events will be sought, considering how the program's lack of articulation with social issues, different instances, and bureaucratic bodies of the State and civil society itself, can also be interpreted as components adjacent to its existence and objectives, directly influencing its collapse since 2015. From this, there is a fundamental need for the territorialization of the debates of this security agenda together with the conception of development, essentially for the evolution of discussions in the discipline of International Relations, which still faces challenges to analyze the binomial beyond the privileged and homogenizing space that takes the State as a substrate regarding the discussion. In the global-local context, this would be how the “urban chaos” paradigm and international actors through humanitarian development programs would shape cities in the global South and public security programs, such as the UPPs -

The use of benzodiazepinenics by academics of the Medicine course of a university in the south of the state of Tocantins
Publicaçãopor Franco , Jéssyka Viana ValadaresOutros Autores: Sakamoto, Agnês Mie; Silva , Daniela de Sousa; Braz, Dayanna Cristina; Gervásio , Flávia Martins; Espíndola, Letícia Antunes et al.Origem: OasisbrBenzodiazepines whose pharmacological properties provide sedative, hypnotic, anxiolytic, anticonvulsant and muscle relaxant actions are the most widely used psychotropic drugs with potential to cause chemical dependence. The objective was to analyze the use of benzodiazepines by medical students and their systemic effects and on the levels of attention, anxiety and school performance, since the sedative and hypnotic effects of this drug are potentiated and may reflect in a depressant action on the System. Central Nervous. This is a descriptive-exploratory and cross-sectional research, in which an electronic questionnaire was applied on the use of psychoactive substances, specifically benzodiazepines, in academics enrolled from the 1st to the 9th period of medicine at a medical school in the south of the State of Tocantins, aged over 18 years, both sexes. Of the 126 responses, 64.3% (81) were female and 35.7% (45) were male. It is observed that the most used drug is clonazepam 0.5mg, followed by alprazolam 0.5mg and in amounts equal to alprazolam 1mg and 2mg, clonazepam 2mg and diazepam 5mg and 10mg. The vulnerability of students at the interface to the mental health scenario has increasingly been in line with anxious and depressive profiles, which were evidenced in the present study. The research found that the use of benzodiazepines by medical students is associated with the strenuous routine of studies and the volume of requirements for preparing a doctor, which evolves to the use of medication after entering college. -

Systematic review of COVID-19 associated with aspergillosis: perspectives for a new diagnosis
Publicaçãopor Gervásio, Flávia MartinsOutros Autores: Franco, Jéssyka Viana Valadares; Sampaio, Andressa de Sousa; Passos, Adna Rocha dos; Sakamoto, Agnês Mie; Silva, Daniela de Sousa et al.Origem: OasisbrThe association of severe acute respiratory syndrome 2 (SARS-COV-2) with invasive pulmonary aspergillosis (API) is called CAPA. Clinical treatment protocols are not described in the world or national literature resulting in low efficacy and high mortality. The objective was to associate the manifestations of SARS-COV-2 and API, in relation to the diagnostic methods, pulmonary dysfunction and clinical outcome. The systematic literature review was based on Pubmed, with English descriptors: “aspergilosis”, “covid”, “histology”, boolean "and", with filters: human and published from 2019. 31 articles were identified and 10 were included. The diagnosis for API included research of the Aspergillus galactomannan antigen in serum or sputum, Aspergillus PCR in tracheal aspirate and culture of respiratory samples. The highlighted respiratory compromises are ground-glass opacities, nodular consolidations, bilateral interstitial pulmonary infiltrate, with death as one of the common outcome. CAPA is a co-infection process, future clinical trials are necessary to develop integrated diagnosis, to improve the clinical outcome and minimize mortality.
