The present study aims to list the oral antineoplastic agents (OAAs) most dispensed in an oncology hospital, identifying their doses, indications, contraindications and possible drug interactions (DIs). Documentary, retrospective, analytical and descriptive study, where OAAs dispensation spreadsheets were analyzed, from january to july 2019. Data were obtained from Micromedex® and analyzed by SPSS® (version 20) using descriptive statistics. 22 types of OAAs were dispensed, making a total of 360.703 drugs. Anastrozole was the most prescribed (51,85%) and hormone therapy agents (32%) were considered the main group. Tyrosine kinase inhibitors exposed the highest rates of contraindications (n=64). With regard to serious risk interactions, nilotinib (n=264), dasatinib (n=182) and metotrexate (n=134) were the drugs with the highest number of reports. The OAAs that did not present any type of interaction were anastrozole and diethylstilbestrol. Of the pharmacological agents that most interacted with OAAs, live vaccines (n=11) were the most present in contraindications and warfarin was the one that had the highest rate of serious interactions (n=8). As for the repercussions of DIs, the most frequent indices were the increased risk of prolongation of the QT interval (n=67) and increased exposure to a drug (n=51). Bearing in mind that cancer therapy requires special attention because of the possible interactions with OAAs, these results are shown to be a useful tool for the entire multiprofessional health team, especially the pharmacist, who has an essential role in the pharmaceutical assistance service on an outpatient basis.

The work seeks to evaluate the nutritional labeling of protein supplements targeted at vegan athletes. Field and quantitative study, carried out in specialized stores and online shopping sites. The sample consisted of 25 labels of different brands, which were analyzed: flavor, vegetable protein, energy value, carbohydrate content, total fats, saturated and trans fats, fibers, vitamin B12, minerals, branched chain amino acids (BCAA) and glutamine. The legislations used for analysis were: RDC 259/2002, 359/2003, 360/2003 and 18/2010. It was found that the pea (68%) was the main vegetable source and 56% of the labels came from a combination of vegetable proteins. With regard to nutritional information, the calculated energy value was 109,8 Kcal and the contribution to carbohydrates, proteins and fats were, respectively, 10,86%, 74,39% and 14,75%. The protein contents did not present significant difference (p> 0,05) when the sources based on peas, peas with rice, soy and the isolated or combined sources were compared. As for the fiber content, 40% of the supplements were considered a source (4,68 ± 0,30 g/100 g), 36% rich (15,14 ± 3,60 g/100 g) and 12% zero fibers. Regarding micronutrients, 28% of the labels exposed vitamin B12 and iron in the nutritional information and 100% the sodium content. The presence of BCAA and glutamine was reported on 56% and 12% of labels, respectively. Thus, it was found that the nutritional information on the labels is within the recommended parameters, but it is suggested the creation of specific legislation that ensures the quality of supplements aimed at vegan athletes.

Introduction: The cancer patient requires several treatments, so the work aimed at this patient should be performed in a broad erway. The multiprofessional team is made up of doctors, nurses, nutritionists, psychologists, and the pharmacist, who is increasingly conquering his space. Objective: To know and discus sthrough a bibliographic survey the advance softhe pharmacist's performance in oncology. Methodology: This is a literature review through searches on LILACS, SciELO, MEDLINE, Science Direct and VHL platforms, articles and theses published from 2014 to 2019. Results and Discussion: The oncology pharmacist becomes the main instrument to obtain the proper quality of individualized pharmacotherapy. Regarding chemotherapy, the professional acts by selecting, acquiring, storing and standardizing the components that are paramount from the preparation to the dispensation of these antineoplastics. Even with all the support and attributions focused on the pharmaceutical profession, it is known that the totally satisfactory performance with pharmaceutical attention in oncologyis still a challenge. According to a survey of the profile of the pharmacist's performance in oncology conducted by Sobrafo in relation to the total hours dedicated to manipulation, it is true to say that 34.5% of these professionals reach 6 hours of manipulation and 15.6% reach 8 hours in this sector. Conclusion: Even with all the attributions and advances of the pharmaceutical professional, there are still some challenges related to the full exercise of pharmaceutical care, such as the excess of time in the handling sector, which makes other activities difficult.
