Based on data from China, where the pandemic originated, cardiac injury has become a prominent feature of the disease, affecting up to 30% of patients and helping 40% of deaths. Several cardiovascular complications have been described, such as myocardial injury (20% of cases), arrhythmias (16%), myocarditis (10%), in addition to heart failure (HF) and shock (up to 5% of cases). The aim of this work is to inform and describe the new myocarditis caused by the new virus. And demonstrate the importance for further studies related to the new disease. All publications that have data on the new myocarditis in patients with the new SARS-CoV-2, scientific publications, official from the World Health Organization and government, between a certain date (2019-2021) were used. Approximately 500 articles were found, languages were checked, and if it was really about the theme of the new myocarditis related to the new virus, then 39 articles were obtained for the discussion. Myocardial injury, signaled by markers, was evidenced in the first cases of the disease. The National Health Council of China demonstrated in a report, 12% of patients without cardiovascular problems. Thus, since SARS-CoV-1 and SARS-CoV-2 reach cells through the angiotensin-converting enzyme 2, where this possibly also happens in patients infected with the new virus. However, more research is still needed to prove these possible theories.

Many species of medicinal plants have been used as a therapeutic alternative in the treatment of diseases around the world, as well as promoting advances in the production of herbal medicines. However, this use is often done indiscriminately and leads to serious consequences in the body of those who use them. Therefore, studies on the toxic, cytotoxic, and genotoxic potentials of medicinal plant species are necessary for their safe use. Cenostigma gardnerianum Tul, popularly known as Caneleiro or Canela-de-velho, is widely used by the population for its anti-inflammatory, antispassmolytic, antitussive, antifungal properties, among others. The aim of this research was to study and analyze a possible toxicity, cytotoxicity, and genotoxicity of the ethanolic extract from the bark of the stem of Cenostigma gardnerianum Tul. by means of the Allium cepa in vivo bioassay. The extract was divided into four concentrations, divided into groups A, B, C and D, respectively: 0.5mg/ml, 1.0mg/ml, 2.0mg/ml and 5.0mg/ml, in addition to the Negative Control (dechlorinated water), Positive Control (dimethyl sulfoxide) and Blank control (distilled water). The roots were measured for toxicity evaluation, the Mitotic Index (MI) was calculated for cytotoxicity research, and finally micronuclei count was performed to study the genotoxicity of each extract concentration. The low growth of the meristems indicated the presence of toxicity; the mitotic indices found were statistically lower than in the negative control, revealing cytotoxicity; and the high micronucleus count showed the presence of genotoxicity. From the results obtained, it was concluded that the ethanolic extract of the Caneleiro bark presents toxic, cytotoxic, and genotoxic activity, with statistically significant values for concentrations starting from 2mg/ml.

Introduction: The disease called COVID-19 or 2019-nCoV, started in 2019, in Wuhan, China. According to international data, obtained on August 22, 2020, Brazil ranks 2nd in the number of confirmed cases and 2nd in the number of deaths. Coronavirus is a current and urgent health problem that has a worldwide distribution. Objective: The objective of this work is to carry out a systematic review, showing the main symptoms and the diagnosis of COVID-19. Methodology: This is a systematic review, using databases from the BVS, SCIELO, SCIENCEDIRECT and MEDLINE, LILACS. Results and Discussion: The symptoms of COVID-19 cases vary between mild and severe cases. Rapid tests are used to detect IgM and IgG antibodies using the lateral flow chromatography methodology, which can be used in the tests: plasma, serum and the patient's whole blood. Detection of the virus by RT-PCR in real time is the gold standard in its identification, being the test for symptomatic patients in the acute phase, its diagnosis has high sensitivity and specificity. Conclusion: This research highlights the importance of laboratory tests for the accurate diagnosis of COVID-19, with the RT-PCR test being the most suitable for the detection of SARS-CoV-2.

Humans can express very different therapeutic responses when the same drug is administered. However, the variations may be due to the phenotype, since differences in age, weight, gender, health and diet are among the important factors, but the genotype also contributes to the environment. However, the implementation of pharmacogenetic tests in clinical practice has been slow. There are still many barriers present that lead to its underutilization. The objective of present study is to present a systematic review of meta-analysis on personalized therapy in oncology, considering pharmacogenetics and current antineoplastic agents and as specific objectives: to discuss the development of pharmacogenomics in relation to antineoplastic agents. According to the search strategies, a total of 168 articles were found in the databases selected for the search, with 32 articles in the Pubmed database, 24 in the Lilacs database and 12 in the Scielo database. We conclude that the relationship to the pharmacokinetics and dynamics of drugs used in the treatment of different diseases, may be available in a large database. The benefits of pharmacogenetics range from choosing the drug that has the best therapeutic effects to increasing the effectiveness of clinical trials in discovering new drugs.

Introduction: The cancer patient requires several treatments, so the work aimed at this patient should be performed in a broad erway. The multiprofessional team is made up of doctors, nurses, nutritionists, psychologists, and the pharmacist, who is increasingly conquering his space. Objective: To know and discus sthrough a bibliographic survey the advance softhe pharmacist's performance in oncology. Methodology: This is a literature review through searches on LILACS, SciELO, MEDLINE, Science Direct and VHL platforms, articles and theses published from 2014 to 2019. Results and Discussion: The oncology pharmacist becomes the main instrument to obtain the proper quality of individualized pharmacotherapy. Regarding chemotherapy, the professional acts by selecting, acquiring, storing and standardizing the components that are paramount from the preparation to the dispensation of these antineoplastics. Even with all the support and attributions focused on the pharmaceutical profession, it is known that the totally satisfactory performance with pharmaceutical attention in oncologyis still a challenge. According to a survey of the profile of the pharmacist's performance in oncology conducted by Sobrafo in relation to the total hours dedicated to manipulation, it is true to say that 34.5% of these professionals reach 6 hours of manipulation and 15.6% reach 8 hours in this sector. Conclusion: Even with all the attributions and advances of the pharmaceutical professional, there are still some challenges related to the full exercise of pharmaceutical care, such as the excess of time in the handling sector, which makes other activities difficult.

Endometriosis is a gynecological disease characterized by the presence of endometrium as tissue-epithelium and stroma that develops outside the uterine cavity. It is a chronic, estrogen-dependent disease, is associated with pelvic pain, dysmenorrhea, dyspareunia and infertility. Given the great impact of this disease on the quality of life of women, there has been a growing interest in the discovery of new drugs that are more effective, tolerability and safety. For this, a literature review was carried out from articles published between 2008 and 2018 available regarding pharmacological treatments for endometriosis in the SCIENCE DIRECT and PUBMED databases. A total of 223 articles published in the last 10 years were found in "Portuguese and English". After evaluating the articles, 15 articles were selected for the present study, which complied with all the eligibility criteria proposed in the methodology. It was concluded that we can count on several types of treatments for endometriosis, but most have the objective of treating the symptoms associated with endometriosis. Currently, the specific treatment we can count on is dienogeste. In addition, there are many studies in search of new drugs and promising treatments for this pathology. Thus, more research is needed regarding the theme and that the pharmacist plays a fundamental role in the adherence to the patient's treatment.
