The present work brings a cross - cutting theme to education that is very present in people 's lives: traffic. And it has the purpose of proposing a contextualized teaching of Basic Statistics focused on this theme. There is nothing to talk about in transit without the presence of concepts of this important and useful area of knowledge. We believe it to be an unprecedented and highly relevant approach to the socio-educational context in basic education. To this end, a second-year high school class with 30 students from a state college in the city of Goiânia was selected to develop a participatory research project, focusing on the contextualization of traffic-oriented statistics (more specifically on main infractions committed in Goiânia), trying to insert the theme in the classroom and familiarize the students with the subject. Here, the reader will find some concepts and definitions about the current traffic legislation in our country, inherent to the proposal of the work, as well as the concepts of descriptive statistics and application problems. All the problems proposed here were elaborated by the author with real data, collected from the transit agencies and, also, empirically \textit{in loco}.

This dissertation examined the process of entry into the work of graduates in computer courses in Goiânia UFG, from a population sample drawn from the graduates of between 2001 and 2010. In order to discern, at least in part, the field of IT professional as well as understand the reality of this area, aimed to investigate whether the respondents are employed or not, their career, what kind of activity performed, issues related to the work itself, the influence of profession on personal life, their perceptions about work s area, and other factors that made us understand how the city of Goiânia is matched to their interests and expectations as of computer science workers. Considering that the working computer is a new profession, it was considered necessary to present relevant historical aspects to situate this new field, highlighting the changes that have taken place within the capitalist society and contributed to the consolidation of new ways to work, emphasizing the profound changes occurring in the late twentieth century, including the context of technological revolutions in information database that contributed to the development of computing, information technology and social relationship in society. It is also understood as necessary for understanding the emergence of the profession of computing in the Brazilian context, summarize the main events that marked the history of computing and informatics in Brazil. After we discuss all these aspects, the survey results allowed the most important points about the working computer in Goiânia and the situation in which these graduates are today.

The present work, have the objective to analyze the narratives produced in Goiânia city at decade 40. The analyze privileged two periods considered of important for comprehension of representation of the city, that it’s Oeste magazine and O popular newspaper. Too we analyzed the literature period produced on period. The objective, therefore, it was to demonstrate that had different narratives forms to represent the city and these forms produced different images of the same object. In contact with the sources, it was possible to find two important types of representation, a utopian and other realistic. In the end, we represented for the reader what unfolding, implication and consequences, that these images were able to produce.

This paper aims to reflect on the patrimony discourses used in the process of requalification of the Civic Square in Goiânia (Go). To this end, it uses narratives presented by actors who witnessed transformations that the public space has undergone in recent years, especially since 2003 when the Iphan (Institute of National Historical and Artistic Patrimony) approved the Dumping Dossier of the Architectural Collection and Urban Art Deco of Goiânia, consisting of a set of 22 public buildings and monuments, considered one of the most significant in Brazil. The ethnographic narrative occurs mainly through the memories of Mr. Joaquim Santana, and also of his son Márcio Carvalho, who established a kiosk where he worked and lived for over five decades. Among the elements that make up this research is the place (the kiosk), the memories, narratives and the unfolding of the patrimonial policies.

Functional capacity (FC) is understood as the living conditions of a person who can independently carry out their activities. Objective: To describe the functional capacity of an adult population in Goiânia by means of functional capacity tests. Methodology: This is a cross-sectional observational study of a population in the municipality of Goiânia from January 2018 to February 2020. The study included men and women aged 35 to 64 years, selected by probabilistic sampling. To assess functional capacity, the handgrip strength tests (FPP), the timed up and go test (TUG), the lower limb flexibility test, body mass index (BMI), waist circumference (WC) were used. and physical exercises of the participants. In the descriptive analysis, mean and standard deviation of the mean were used. We applied the Shapiro Wilk test to verify the normality of the data, and the Kruskal-Wallis test. Results: There was no significant difference between BMI and physical exercise, physical exercise with tests of functional capacity in the 200 participants analyzed. About 65.3% were overweight. The WC values for was greatly increased in 53.6% of women and 38% of men; 96.9% of the participants were not at risk of falling, and 26.9% had very little lower limb flexibility. Conclusion: Low flexibility, overweight and obesity conditions, WC and increased waist-to-height ratio (RCE), can contribute to the decrease in functional capacity as aging occurs, causing a reduction in autonomy for performing the exercises. This investigation inserts in the line of research Education, Labor and Social Movements. Our purpose was to understand the issues related to access and remaining in education as a right of adolescents, youth and adults, based on the enrollment reduction analysis in the modality of Education of Adolescents, Youth and Adults (EAYA), of the Municipal Secretary of Education in Goiania (MSE/Goiânia) in the 1997-2013 period. This research was guided by the question: Why did not the actions, projects and programs dedicated to EAYA in MSE/Goiânia, in the period 1997-2013, contribute to the significant increase in enrollment in this modality of education? Our analysis was corroborated by the documentary and bibliographical research, using works that discuss the EYA in Brazil and the EAYA in Goiânia, as well as official documents of the proceedings and guidelines of Education in Brazil and Municipal Education Network from Goiânia. We interviewed managers who work in this network and working in data on EAYA. The survey also had a quantitative character, by the use and analysis of data provided by the MSE/Goiânia and by the INEP / MEC on the School Census. This investigation therefore confirms previous research indicating the need to build effective public policies of State in order to the EJA to materialize the right to education for all.

It is proposed to research the urban permanences verified in the initial core of Goiânia, as from Goiás Avenue, its most symbolic and expressive stretch. It starts with the analysis of the political discourse disseminated by Pedro Ludovico Teixeira, in favor of moving the capital to a place better adjusted to his political interests, after the triumph of the Brazilian Revolution of 1930. Therefore, he builds powerful social representations, based on the images of the old and the new capital, in order to oppose those against this change and consolidate his government. In addition to the speech and propaganda, Ludovico uses, as a statement element, the urban plan designed by Attilio Corrêa Lima, creating a modern intentional monument to be immortalized, translated by the monumental Goiás Avenue. Then, the city experiences a vertiginous growth in its territory and population, mainly after the 1950s, resulting in the disfigurement of its pioneering core. The spatial transformations verified in Goiás Avenue are representative of this scenario, such as its verticalization process and the changes in its layout to meet the demands from the public transportation. From these losses, consequences of the progressive mentality that is rooted in the local culture, arise the first initiatives to preserve the material evidences of the beginning Goiânia, culminating with its federal preservation in 2003. From this institutionalization as a national heritage, it is focused the appropriation by the city inhabitants, through the research of the urban imaginary created since the pioneer’s city until the present day, highlighting striking points in this trajectory. For that, it is used literature in prose and verse to reach the local collective memory, focusing on the capital early years and on the current city - violent, disjointed and that is forgetting its history day by day.

The established environmental crisis demands efforts for a change on the relationship that humanity set with the nature. The environmental education, in its critical dimension, is capable of forming subject citizens with planetary awareness to intervene in the socio-environmental issues. In this way, the non-formal educational practices in parks, for example, show a high potential to further the citizen experience that accesses a large public, independent on age or social class. In the city of Goiânia/GO the environmental issue is massively approached both in the speech of leaders as the policies that regulate the actions of the Public Authorities. This city has a great potential for development of environmental education process in Protected Areas, since the number of areas of conservationist interest is high, according to the municipal management. In that light, this research aimed to analyze the Environmental Education in Goiânia Protected Areas, assessing the environmental speech of Goiânia’s administration and public policies if this materialize in Environmental Education actions in goianienses municipal Protected Areas, analyzing aspects of conceptions and perceptions of the persons connected the parks that interfere in the Environmental Education process and, finally, identify the structural design guiding this non-formal Environmental Education in a non-school context. Through an analysis, mainly qualitative, questionnaires and interviews were applied to managers and community bound seven parks in many different Goiânia’s regions, beyond as analysis of the law and speeches of municipal management. Although municipal laws present bases of a critical environmental education and committed to social change, conceptions of frequenter community and managers of parks were shown adjusted to the ideas disseminated by the government of an education directed for awareness and individual behavior change, to overcome environmental problems. Besides, the educational practices developed in the areas do not meet the visiting public as a whole and are reduced as the distance from the park towards downtown, revealing the social and special segregation and the inconsistency of the homogeneous views. In this perspective, environmental education in urban parks of Goiania is fundamentally supported by the current Conservative, lacking a comprehensive structuring the entire capital and requiring the consolidation of existing public policies.

With the process of expansion of the service sector, there is an important growth in the scope of the so-called personal services, which are those aimed at meeting an individual demand, which require or not a direct interaction with the clientele. Part of this context are occupations linked to the restaurant business, a segment that, after a trajectory of broad development, has started to house an important contingent of labor, such as cooks and cooks, barbecue chefs, waiters and waitresses. The objective of the research is to investigate the work of these workers, in the scope of establishments specialized in serving meat, called churrascarias and steak houses, located in the city of Goiânia, Goiás. From an approach that privileges the sociology of work in services, aspects related to the development of work activity, its organization and dynamics that mark the interactions between workers, workers and clients, in the daily life of occupations, are investigated. The methodology used advocates a triangulation of data sources, with emphasis on a qualitative approach. The research evidences work oriented towards client satisfaction, which requires flexibility, teamwork, practical knowledge and subjective elements, such as emotional and aesthetic work, central to the interactions that mark the daily life of these activities.

Tell the story of a place involves conceptual operations that relate to urban practices within what we might call a history of dwelling relating to this urban daily life and existential dimension of an inhabited place . The study of home and ways of living appears within a discussion that involves architecture and urbanism , design , sociology , anthropology and other various aspects of research that relate to the experience of space and place distinctly . Under this process, the contributions referred to this type of research serve as support for discussion of home and existential place . The house appears as phenomenological field of study to think about not only the ways to build and register the architectural styles at a particular time , but also the ways of living and relating to space . Thus faces , considering the aspects of the history of the house , this research aims to understand how a place has been changed and modified over time and , in particular , how a particular home can bring important information about the memory and history of a way of living . Studies the primary home starting from a common home , the home of Mr. and Mrs. José Félix Louza Irene Felix Louza , located at Avenida Paranaíba with 09 Street , in the city center of Goiânia , project conducted by renowned architect David Libeskind . The study refers to its modern architecture and style , as well as patterns of living and live this space , which , from 1952 , date of the beginning of its construction , was established as culturally " modern house " . We may , from that, think of the ways of living of its inhabitants in a Goiania still unpaved and thereby appropriating this discourse of modern housing to ask ourselves : How can we belong to a place that is not ours ? Like this place - segregated territory or approached its inhabitants and how the assimilation of the concept of modernity and the real experience of that space was possible? Divided the work into three chapters : the first deals with the material elements of the file, a historical and architectural context , the second discusses succinctly the concept of modern home and its Brazilian styles , applying it to the object of study , the third chapter discusses the symbolic relations with the residents of the house in your inner space , analyzing the changes over the years . The final considerations intend to infer the proposal to think of ways of reframing of space inherent to its architecture and its aesthetic , thinking of lived spaces , reinvented and they bring in their internal arrangements private configuration , using the methodology of History and Theory Interartes based investigative .
